Product Details
The Kaiketsu vase. Industrial walls paired with soft textural surface, its form inspired by the traditional Japanese art of Ikebana.

This vase plays with the boundaries of traditional vessels inviting experimental arrangements, allowing nature to be displayed in free form within its bended curves.

A unique object for any contemporary home, creating beautiful centerpieces when paired with natural arrangements. This product is available in three sizes, small, low and tall.

Small | Approx 7cm high x 14.5cm wide
Low | Approx 11.5cm high x 20cm wide
TALL | Approx 15cm high x 21.5cm wide

*Please note as each Asobimasu vessel is made by hand, please allow for a small variance in size, approx +/- 1cm from the listed dimensions. The beauty of the firing and glazing process means each piece will have a unique surface finish and colour. Note this may vary slightly from image shown.

Kate Brouwer is the hands and heart behind Asobimasu Clay. An ever growing collection of playful vessels, tableware and sculptural ceramics, with functionality at the forefront.

Drawing inspiration from Asobimasu, a Japanese word meaning to play, to create without boundaries, Kate enjoys creating pieces that bend the boundaries of traditional forms and explore their relationship to the world around us.

Inspired by native bushland and landscapes, Kate seeks to find harmony between nature and form. Creating simple yet bold vessels that provide structure for nature to become the living artwork within its walls.
